Gion Duck Noodles

Gion Duck Noodles, a duck ramen restaurant with a long line in a back alley in Gion, Kyoto
Duck ramen made by a chef with a French background
Gion Duck Noodles is a ramen restaurant with 8 seats at the counter, which sets it apart from other ramen shops. The interior has eight seats at the counter, creating a relaxed space that resembles a French restaurant. The glasses are also stylish.
The light, clear soup made of duck and kelp has no distinctive duck smell and is very mild.
The plates are decorated with colorful and fragrant grape sansho, a beautiful combination of Japanese and Western flavors. The more you chew the duck, the tastier it becomes and the tighter its meat becomes.

The novelty of the signboard and menu with only pictographs!

This is the Western-style takikomi rice recommended by the staff. It tastes like a Western-style pilaf cooked in duck stock. Stir in the yolk. You can also pour the duck broth over the rice to make it chazuke (rice with green tea) style.

As one would expect from a popular restaurant with a long line. The stylish duck ramen is all about the duck! The lingering taste of duck will linger even after you finish eating.

5 minutes walk from Gion-Shijo Station on the Keihan Main Line.

Enter the narrow alley on the left of Hoshino Resort from the Shijo Street side and on the right of Hoshino Resort from the Tominagamachi Street side.
